The ATEX load cell amplifier ALA5 is ATEX certified for hazardous zones 0, 1 and 2 and designed to fit in-line to the strain gauge load cell. Intrinsically safe to EN60079-11 (previously EN 50020) standards. It has a robust design, reverse polarity and is short circuit protected.
It is ideal for hazardous environments, oil and gas industry, chemical and food industry.
The ATEX load cell amplifier provides high performance signal conditioning for strain gauge sensors such as load cells, pressure and torque transducers. It connects in-line to the sensors and delivers a 2-wire 4-20 mA current loop output.
The ALA5 can be connected to ATEX approved equipment within the hazardous zone or to non-approved ATEX equipment outside the hazardous zone provided that a suitable barrier is used.
The high performance ATEX load cell amplifier is housed within a robust dust tight, immersion protected IP67 stainless steel NEMA 6 EMC enclosure and is supplied with 1m strain gauge cable and a 5m output cable.
